Many people hold an inherent belief that art stems from pain. I would seek to disagree with that idea. These characters represent the things that bring me joy, the things that I admire, and the people I aspire to be. They revolve around themes such as music, nature, and fantasy which are all important in my life. I would hope that these pieces and themes help to ease not only my own, but others' suffering. I want my art to bring people joy and empower them to go out and make some sort of happiness for themselves, whether that be on a canvas, a piece of paper, or a stage.
