Mixed Media: I’ve always been intrigued by different artistic disciplines and I love to express my vast imagination and creativity through photography among other media. I am never afraid to challenge myself by integrating different techniques and materials into my art. For my senior project, I wanted to explore the realm of mixed media because I wanted to blend the realism of photography with the hand-drawn elements of illustration, creating a visually engaging and playful experience for my audience. In addition, this combination of media offered me more creative freedom. By utilizing POSCA markers to draw images on top of the photos, each piece offers a stark contrast between the classic elegance of a black and white portrait and a striking intensity of color.
