Scholastic Art aWards

This year, there were over 1,600 art submissions from all over Bexar county for the Scholastic Art Awards. Criteria for judging were originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal vision. This year, SMH had 77 total awards, which was tied for the most in the San Antonio Region. An online exhibition of the winning images will be launched on February 17 through Say Sí. Any works that were designated as "Gold Key" will be automatically considered for national-level recognition. Congratulations to all of our student artists!
