I strive to create dynamic pieces through collage and the power of color, while seeking out the beauty in isolation and the profound emotions it can evoke. My concentration focuses on the intensity and loneliness of epic landscapes and the lively company that surrounds my everyday life.  These subjects allow me to access and investigate the bliss that can arise out of the essence of loneliness.

Through the use of puzzle-esque collage work alongside expressive acrylic paint, I attempt to intertwine reality with unique elements of color and pattern in order to emphasize a natural and photographed state juxtaposed against the personal emotions from that moment. From experimenting with bold silkscreen backgrounds, detailed pen work, and unified collage, I realized that the most effective path to give my pieces the most meaning would be a combination of the three, all working in a seemingly scattered harmony that truly has brought the work to life.
