Words and Light: This year’s work centers on simply making visual responses to my environment and previous work. Primarily they are responses to my immediate surroundings; the room I have spent a year in, the backyard I wonder around, the photos that clog my camera roll, and my own physical appearance. Because of my random way of drawing inspiration and working through each piece, I try to use pattern to unify the work.
