My capstone work revolves around how moments are transformed from a tangible place and time into a memory; in other words, how past interactions with people are changed in our minds as details and context are inevitably lost to time. In my capstone pieces, each figure is removed from any context or concrete reality and instead are conveyed in only a basic emotion or mood. In this way, the pieces evoke distant moments in time.
