The Senior Studio proposed a class that culminates in a first annual pushcart derby, The Baron Grand Prix™ to be held in late April or early May on the SMH campus. Baron Grand Prix™ is to be open to teams from all divisions and members of the community including faculty, staff, administration, and alumni.

Students will examine mechanics, strength-to-weight ratios, material science as well as a history of participatory, mechanical, and performance art.  

Students will also direct the event planning itself including, but not limited to recruitment, promotion, and the immersive experience.
