I enjoy making art because it enables me to explore areas of the creative side of my mind that I am not exercising elsewhere in my schoolwork. I prefer creating art out of many different mediums and exploring the varying textures and styles, but I center my work upon marine life and the ocean as I am very much motivated and inspired by the natural world. Through my artwork I attempt to convey a calm, un-distressed emotional component that I derive from my subject matter, the relaxing landscape of the ocean.
